BHARATPUR BIRD SANCTURY
    A Place for MANY REASONS
 
Can an experience be at once joyous and painful . It can be sometimes.  At least this is what I felt while I was visiting the Bharatpur Bird Sacnctury , this time. Visiting the sanctury , gave me a feeling of mixture of pleasure and pain .

Seeing the bird play in their natural enviornment , was indeed extacy and yet when I heard about the Siberian Crane , it was painful.  This rare beautiful bird has been decimated by senseless killing and now stands on the verge of extinction .

The Bharatpur Keoladeo Bird sanctury  is the only place in India that is visited by this beautiful bird.

It is my endeavour to make this website and active site for generating world-wide public opinion  in trying to save this  bird.
